Spring 2021 Newsletter - Available Now!
The Spring 2021 edition of the parish newsletter is now available and is currently being hand-delivered to the majority of the parish (mid-March).
It is also available to collect from the Parish Room in Chinley, from Chinley Community Centre (when it re-opens) and from Chinley Post Office.

Chinley Community Centre Project - Tender currently live for Architect Services for new building
The parish council have recently gone out to tender to secure the services of an architect to design a new Community Centre building for Chinley.
The project is dependent upon securing additional funding. You may recall from recent newsletters that the Parish Council, working in conjunction with the Community Association, were successful in passing the first stage of application with the National Lottery's...

Litter-Picking in Chinley & Buxworth - Great British Spring Clean
The Great British September Clean runs from 11 - 27 September 2020. Unfortunately we are unable to organise any community litter-picking events this year but if you would like to organise your own group of up to 6 people the parish council can loan you the necessary litter-picking equipment in a Covid-safe manner. Reopening of Parish Council Play Facilities
The parish council play facilities in Chinley and Buxworth have reopened today, Saturday 4 July 2020. Further to guidance published by the Government on 26 June we have carried out the necessary risk assessment.
