Twinning Opportunity
The villages of Chinley and Buxworth have the opportunity to begin a twinning partnership with Engelstadt and Bubenheim, villages in Germany. To this end, a public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday 12 September at 7:30pm in the Parish Room, 3 Lower Lane, Chinley. Please come along to find out more and/or get involved. CHINLEY PARK ANNUAL PICNIC – What language is that?
Over 50 picnickers enjoyed the sunshine at the Friends of Chinley Park Nature Reserve Picnic on Saturday 23 June. Amongst them was a group of Esperanto speakers visiting Chinley for the first time. Notice of Public Rights and Publication of Unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return
The Annual Governance Statement and Accounting Statements for the year ended 31 March 2018 for Chinley, Buxworth and Brownside Parish Council have been approved and are published here. The statement of accounts are currently unaudited and may be subject to change. The period for the exercise of public rights runs from Monday 18 June 2018 to Friday 27 July 2018.

Libraries for Derbyshire: Public Library Service Strategy Consultation

New Playground for Chinley
The Parish Council have invited three companies to design and quote for a new playground in Chinley. The designs are now on display in the Parish Room window and available to view on our website.
