Chinley Community Centre Project - Tender currently live for Architect Services for new building

The parish council have recently gone out to tender to secure the services of an architect to design a new Community Centre building for Chinley.

The project is dependent upon securing additional funding. You may recall from recent newsletters that the Parish Council, working in conjunction with the Community Association, were successful in passing the first stage of application with the National Lottery's Reaching Communities Fund earlier this year. The next stage is to submit a fully funded proposal which can only be done once planning permission has been secured and the construction works have been fully costed.

To that end, we are very pleased to say that the tender for architect services is currently live and in the public domain. High Peak Borough Council are supporting us with the procurement process. For any architects wishing to find out more about the tender, full details may be found across a number of websites:

Any specific tender queries must go via High Peak Borough Council who are running the procurement exercise on our behalf. Their details may be found within the links above. The deadline for submission is Thursday 26 November 2020 at midday.

We look forward to updating you on progress soon.
