Chinley, Buxworth & Brownside Parish Council offer their deepest sympathies to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

The flag on Squirrel Green is being flown at half-mast.

Floral tributes may be left on the grassed area in front of Buxton Town Hall or near the War Memorial in Norfolk Square, Glossop. More »

A book of condolence is available for people to sign at Buxton Town Hall and the Municipal Buildings, Glossop. The buildings will be open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 2pm Saturday and Sunday. It will be available to sign until 5pm on the day after the funeral of Her Majesty the Queen. The funeral is scheduled to take place at 11am on Monday 19 September 2022.
