The Annual Parish Meeting will be held in the Community Centre on Lower Lane, Chinley on Wednesday 16 May from 8pm. It has been delivered to the majority of the parish in conjunction with the High Peak Review newspaper and is also available to collect from the Parish Room, Chinley, from Chinley Community Centre and from Chinley Post Office. New Playground for Chinley

New Playground for Chinley

The Parish Council have invited three companies to design and quote for a new playground in Chinley. The designs are now on display in the Parish Room window and available to view on our website. Please take a look at the designs and give us your feedback. Pop in to the Parish Room when we are open or call or email to make an appointment. Parish Office Closed for Christmas

The Parish Office is now closed for the Christmas break and will re-open on Thursday 4th January 2018.

Christmas Lights Switch On Events

The annual Christmas Lights Switch On events will happen in our parish as follows:

Monday 4th December - 7pm at Squirrel Green - followed by carols, readings and refreshments at St. Mary's Church.

Friday 8th December - 6pm at Buxworth School - followed by a Christmas Market.

The latest edition of the parish newsletter is now available. Copies are available in local shops including Chinley Cheese Post Office, Peak Pharmacy, Tea on the Green and Parmar's Newsagents in Chinley as well as Buxworth Memorial Club. You may also collect a copy from the community centre in Chinley or from the Parish Room. If you would like a copy posted to you please contact the Parish Clerk.
